Step 1  –  Get an Adequate VPS

Step 2 — Installing Plex

To begin with, you are likely to need to SSH to your VPS. I work on Macs so that I use Terminal because of this. To do this you just type:

ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Replace the X’s with your own VPS IP address.

If it asks if to allow connections and save the machine, type yes. You will then have to put in your password to the root user on your own server, We will email this to you personally when you purchase your VPS.

Now we are in, we will need to download and set up Plex.
